Our love story started in early May 2022, with our first date being at the Local in Liberty Village. At the time, Joseph was living the true downtown life in Fort York without a car, and was looking for a girl within a 2 km walking radius. Laura, on the other hand, lived in North York, which was about a four-hour walk from Fort York. Whoops!

Despite Laura not being the downtown girl Joseph originally had in mind, the connection was immediate. Before long, Laura was driving downtown to see Joseph multiple times a week. We quickly found ourselves exploring everything the city had to offer and sneaking away for the occasional weekend adventure.

Since then, we have traveled the world together, moved to our first home in Pickering, and now couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter in our lives together.
